My name is Jason and I drink coors light. I have a couple of 67 fairlane. I refer to them as my ladies. One ladie is black with a 351W. I just drive her dont do much work on her. Another ladie is down to bare metal, she is my number one project. I work on her alot. I hope to be driving her at the end of summer. She has a 289. There is also a rusted out gt 390. She dont move and probaly never will. I collect 67 fairlane parts and I am always looking,,Inconel

Welcome Jason. Good to have you on the forum. Not to mention, you used two of my favorites words in the English language, Fairlane and Coors Light. Giddyup.

Yes, like the others.....welcome. I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the 60's fairlanes. My very first car was a '69 LTD.....handme down from an uncle that passed away. I pulled the 351w, rebuilt it and put it in my 2nd car.....a 65 fastback. sorry for rambling......but I too have had many late nights with the "ladies"......I like your style!

This was taken about November I think. Now all that is left are the window, I have been trying to find someone to come out and remove them. And the drip rail trim which I think was glued on and needs a heat gun to get them off. I made the mistake and coverd the car in rust inhibator which now also needs to be sanded all the way off. This is my first car that I have taken all the way down so I am learning and reading alot as I go. I want to just take the unibody and get it blasted and the body work done and get it back painted out in trim black. I am going to make a craddle for it next week so I can get it on a trailer. I have been calling the shops around kitsap and it is hard to find a shop that will do it.

Here ya go inconel! Lookin' sweet......very sweet!!! Looks like it was originally red with black interior....you gonna stick with that.....it's a great combo! Good luck getting the windows out. I helped a buddy once pull out a window that was glued in....we poked a wire through the tar like substance that was sealing the window, then looped it around a stick on each end and with kind of sawing motion back and forth, worked it all the way around the window and lifted it out. Not sure if your 67 has the same set up tho.
