| Here's a pretty complete 262 flat head six engine and tranny out of a '49 hudson (but the engine looks to be stamped as 1950). The tranny is a 3 speed with electric overdrive. The engine doesn't appear to have ran in years...would need a complete rebuild. The tranny seems to turn fine, but the engine is seized. Asking price $50......(I could probably get that at the recycle center). I would hate to see this get hauled to the scrap yard since there's a finite supply of these castings in existence...eventually someone could use the parts. If you prove to me you are a Hudson enthusiast and would not scrap it, I'll consider giving it to you free.

| I'm sure if you tell Kai he really needs it, that he would be happy to buy it. I checked Amazon and they didn't show any,so you should be able to lock in the sale! |

I dismissed the riding lawn mower as just an act of frustration, but burn an engine into a molten pile???!!??!! .....maybe not a bad idea...I could collect the $50 and probably still recycle it for scrap metal!! Get the furnace fired up.....who's bringing the beer?

| Sounds like I got a "taker" for this beast. He lives in Portland but will pick it up when he comes up to the Monroe swap meet!!! Which is next month right?? Anyway, thanks boss for letting me use the picker....that will be handy for getting it in his truck. |
