| I'm am currently in the middle of my project fastback build-up... so-far I have 5 years into it. All the money and work is under the car. The list goes like this 1970 mustang fastback -1969 429 -460 crank and rods -bored 0.030" -flat top pistons -750 Holley Double Dumper -T-56 tremec six speed -McLeod bellhousing -13" cobra front disc brake kit -11.25" cobra rear disc brake kit -9" rear 31-spline moser axles 4.11 ratio with trac-lok limited slip -global west full negative roll front suspension with 720 lb race springs -5-leaf rear springs with global west del-a-lum bushings -1 1/8" front sway bar -7/8" rear sway bar -total control products rack and pinion steering -17x8 edelbrock 454 wheels (eleanor/ac cobra style) -255/50zr17 Hankook tires -4-point roll cage -fuel tank relocated for center exit exhaust w/rear mounted mufflers Here are some pic of my project from 2008... | Double nice!
Too bad it's got 6,000 to 1 compression ratio and he needs to burn liquid hydrogen to keep it from pinging :-)

| i am researching water/methanol injection (washer fliud is the common fill as it is actually flammable due to methanol content).... it is said that it gives you the same results from 91 octane as 116 octane for a kit price of under $400....still researching.... |

| after the last real-life lowering of another inch....i can tell you with the utmost confidence that it is impossible to lower that rig any more than it is now......with out 'windowing' the entire floor for clearance....but i am motivated as all hell after seeing the profile of it slammed. You are turning me into a low-lover!!!! |

| sometimes i think you are trying to get my car back to where it was two years ago....gutted and non-drivable!! I have stepped back enough this teardown season!!!! |

| R.I.P. boss466.........I just heard that the kid that bought the beast let his friend drive the car ( who has had his license for about 4 whole months) and he was doing 100-120 mph and down shifted into 3rd gear thus allowing a piston to eat a valve and puke a piston and cylinder wall !!!!!!.........weak-assed version of the MadMav catastrophy. He had the car for 40 hours. Poor boss466...another friend I have betrayed..... |
