1965 Ford Falcon Ranchero

So TheBoss, aka Jamie, got me hooked up with this sweet, okay not really, 1965 Ford Ranchero. No engine and no tranny, but plenty of rust. But hey it was free and I was in love.





After sourcing me an engine and aod tranny from 1986 Lincoln Towncar, Jamie and I went right to work cleaning up the engine and getting it ready to install.

My goal was to get it to the Vintiques N/W Nationals 2008, but it didn't happen. One problem after another. I learned what it is like to build a hotrod.



After a lot of hard work, with trips over the mountains and breakfasts and dinners for Jamie, we finally got it all put together.

I got these last year at MFY, but haven't put them on yet.

Because of this I was able to just plug the new headlight in and fasten it down.

I have never in my life seen a better excuse for a flat black paint job!!!!! Scheduled for spring '09!!!

You got that right. I'm gonna sand it down first.
